My 5-Step Night Time Skincare Routine


One thing that has changed over the past few years is my need of an efficient and relaxing night routine. The thought of going to sleep with my make up on, or without washing my face thoroughly—as I did sometimes in college—is unbearable. Nothing feels better than going to sleep with clean skin! So without further ado, here is my daily night time skincare routine.

Step 1. DHC Deep Cleansing Oil
Step 2. Kiehl’s Calendula Herbal Extract Alcohol-Free Toner
Step 3. Masks
Step 4. Eye Treatment
Step 5. Face Oils

As you can see, I’ve provided the particular product for the first two steps and not the others. This is because after trying many different products (and I will provide product reviews in other posts), I always return to the DHC Deep Cleansing Oil and the Kiehl’s Calendula Toner, and they have never failed me. For steps 3 to 5, I switch around products depending on the season, or mostly, depending on my mood. Here’s a review of products I currently use; oh, and I have Asian, combination and sensitive skin.
